Canadian Dave Hadfield flew this beautifully restored Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IX on an epic 5,000 mile flight across North America, including a weeklong stop at Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture 2018. The airplane is painted to represent one flown in 65 missions by RCAF Flight Lieutenant Arnold “Rosey” Roseland whose son was on hand to see the airplane, and share memorabilia and stories from his father’s life.
