During Sun ‘n Fun 2021, lots of people asked about further news on the coming aircraft regulation for Light-Sport Aircraft. Although more than 100,000 people have viewed the video at the bottom of this page, many have asked for an update.
Not much news on MOSAIC (see this article or this one) has emerged until very recently.
FAA is moving the working group’s proposal through the agency’s internal departments get to comments on the concepts. That remains where the regulation is today. What appears below is nothing more than observations on what is being discussed by involved FAA personnel.
